Mihrab Terms of Use
These terms apply to Mihrab on Android and iOS, including widgets, notifications, media playback, sharing tools and optional in-app support purchases.
1. Acceptance and permitted use
By using Mihrab, you agree to these terms and the Privacy Policy. You may use the app for personal, lawful purposes. You may not misuse the service, interfere with its operation, extract protected assets for redistribution or use it to violate third-party rights.
2. Religious and educational information
Mihrab provides religious utility and educational content. It is not a fatwa service and does not replace qualified local religious guidance. Quran translations, hadith references, prayer-learning material and religious dates may differ among sources or scholarly views. Please report suspected errors for review.
3. Prayer times, karaha times and qibla
Results depend on location, selected city, calculation method, madhab, device clock, local practice and sensor quality. Compass readings can be affected by calibration, magnetic cases and nearby metal. Verify important timings and directions with a trusted local authority.
4. Notifications, widgets and audio
Notifications and widgets depend on permissions, operating-system scheduling, background execution, battery policy and timely app data. Delivery, refresh timing and countdown precision cannot be guaranteed in every device state. Quran audio and system media controls also depend on network and operating-system availability.
5. Zakat and market information
Zakat calculations and live gold, silver or currency values are informational estimates. Data may be delayed, unavailable or different from a local market. Seek qualified religious and financial advice before making a final decision.
6. Optional support purchases
Mihrab may offer small, medium and large consumable support purchases through Apple App Store or Google Play. These are voluntary contributions and do not unlock essential religious features unless the store listing expressly states otherwise. Prices, currency, taxes, billing, refunds and family controls are handled under the applicable store's rules. Consumable support purchases are generally not restorable as durable entitlements.
7. Third-party services
Some content, maps, market data, audio and payments depend on third-party providers identified in the Privacy Policy. Their availability and terms are outside Mihrab's control. Links or references do not constitute a guarantee or endorsement of every third-party statement.
8. Local data and sharing
You are responsible for content you deliberately share and for backups you create. Clearing app storage or uninstalling may remove locally stored records. Mihrab is not responsible for loss caused by device failure, operating-system changes or deletion without a usable backup.
9. Availability and changes
Features may be corrected, replaced, suspended or removed to improve reliability, comply with store requirements or respond to provider changes. We may update these terms; the current version and effective date will remain publicly available here.
10. Disclaimer and liability
To the extent permitted by applicable law, Mihrab is provided “as is” without a guarantee of uninterrupted or error-free operation. Nothing in these terms excludes rights or liability that cannot legally be excluded. Mihrab and its publisher are not liable for decisions made solely from unverified prayer, qibla, religious, market or notification information.
